De Gruchy's Funeral Care

De Gruchy's Funeral Care

De Gruchy’s Funeral Care has been part of the Channel Islands Coop and locally owned by islanders since 2009.

We are a small team of qualified and highly experienced funeral directors, assistants and bearers and civil funeral celebrants.

Getting your funeral right matters to us and we pride ourselves on the personal service and the attention to detail that we give at affordable prices. We are here to guide, advise and support you through what can be a difficult time, trying to make things as easy as they can be while giving the person who has died the very best send-off.

We are members of the National Association of Funeral Directors and adhere strictly to its code of practice.

Costs and pre-paid funeral plans

We will always provide you with a quote of cost prior to the funeral service taking place and you are welcome to talk to us, or to meet us to discuss planning a funeral with us, without any obligation.

Taking out a pre-paid funeral plan is a simple and straightforward way to pre-arrange the details of your funeral and make provision for the cost. You can also choose how to pay for your plan, this can be:

· One, single complete payment

· Instalments paid over a period of 12 months - terms and conditions apply

· A combination of both a lump sum payment and instalments.

Feel free to contact us to discuss further what payment plan would best suit you and your needs.

Funeral plans are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK. This regulation only applies where the funeral is to be carried out in the UK, which does not include the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man for these purposes. Plans sold to Channel Islands residents for funerals in the Channel Islands will not be covered by this regulation. As such you will not have the benefit of the UK’s Financial Services Compensation Scheme or Financial Ombudsman Service.

Terms and conditions apply to funeral plans – please ask us if you have any questions.

Our funeral plans are supplied by Ecclesiastical Planning Services
