Senior Supervisor (Nights) | Grand Marché St Helier

Job Role

We are looking for a Senior Supervisor to join our nights team at our Grand Marché St Helier Store.

Senior Supervisors play a key role in delivering an exceptional standard of customer services to all our customers, leading and developing our colleagues, and ultimately, supporting the management team in the running of a smooth store operation.

Other key responsibilities will include:

1. To lead, inspire and develop your team
2. To support the management of a the store
3. Maintaining an uncluttered environment
4. Replenishing stock
5. Operating checkouts
6. Supporting colleagues as part of a good team ethic
7. General Store and Personnel administration
8. Managing waste and personnel budgets

The role can be at times physically challenging and will involve reaching, bending and lifting of stock and standing for long periods of time. Ideally, you will be aged 18 years and above (due to regulations around the sale of alcohol and tobacco).

Our ideal candidate will:

1. Have a broad understanding of the business and the broader co-operative movement,
2. Be risk aware in the areas under your responsibility
3. Be able to understand and communicate business reporting
4. Be able to work in a team and communicate effectively,
5.  Possess a Level 3 CMI professional qualification or equivalent and/or 2+years relevant retail experience
6. Possess technical skills specific to role Experience
7. Possess knowledge and understanding of SMART goals and objectives
