At the Co-op, we’re all about supporting local, and making a real difference in our community. So it was an easy decision to support The National Trust of Guernsey’s Lé Viaër Marchi in its Golden anniversary year, and our own centenary.

We’ve supported this event for the last five years as the main sponsor. It’s all about bringing together Guernsey’s local history, crafts, traditions and values.

 Being a local retailer owned by its Channel Island members, Lé Viaër Marchi is the perfect fit.

So on a balmy evening in early July, we arrived in our Community Van with a range of delicious Guernsey treats from our local suppliers.

Cheeses from Guernsey Dairy and Torteval Cheese, local sausages and burgers from Perelle Butchery, delicious mushrooms from Guernsey Mushrooms, potatoes from Guernsey Farm Produce, fragrant herbs from Guernsey Herbs and Guernsey eggs from Castel Farm were all on offer to taste.

Plus there was a special guest appearance from the Goodness Gang’s Molly Mushroom.
