It is low carb alternative to pizza and it is great if you are on the keto diet , or simply want to cut out carbs.
Ingredients
330g Mild cheddar cheese
100g Mozzarella cheese
Approximately two table spoons of Mayo (35g)
4 Eggs
5 leaves of fresh basil
1/2 a tin of chopped tomatoes
Herbs : dry basil, oregano, pepper, salt;
Method
For the pizza crust:
1. To begin you will need to shred the mild cheddar cheese.
2. Add two table spoons of mayo (35g), shredded cheddar cheese, four eggs, basil, oregano, pepper and salt in to the bowl.
3. Mix until completely incorporated.
4. Spread dough evenly on a form with lined baking parchment paper.
5. The dough will need to be baked twice, once for the crust to bake, and the next for the cheese and sauce.
The first time it is baked for 20 minutes (180°C). While this is baking the first time, this would be a good time to prepare sauce (see below)
6. Add sauce, again spread it evenly.
7. Add mozzarella cheese.
8. Bake for another 10 minutes.
9. Remove it from the oven and wait at least three minutes before serving.
10. Add fresh basil leaves.
For the sauce:
1. Take 100g of chopped tomatoes and mix with dry basil in a blender.
2. When mixed, keep to one side to add onto the pizza.
