It’s often thought that when you buy a cheaper product, the quality suffers.

At Coop we want to show you this isn't the case, so we’ve developed a value range that has real values. You can buy everyday items at a great price, safe in the knowledge that they live up to the same ethical standards you’ve come to expect from us. We believe that everyone should have access to good quality food at reasonable prices.

From Fairtrade coffee to responsibly sourced loo roll, we believe that everyone should be able to buy good quality everyday items, whatever their budget.

Honest Value joins our core own brands; Irresistible, Gro and Free From range, all of which give customers a great selection of products with excellent value for money to suit all types of lifestyles and budgets.

Here’s some shopping list staples from the Honest Value range you can expect to find in-store and online.

Healthy forests

We care about ensuring our forests are healthy, both now and in the future. That’s why 95% of the wood and paper used in Coop products, including our Honest Value toilet roll, comes from sources approved by the Forest Stewardship Council.

So when you pick up a 4 pack of Honest Value toilet roll, you can be confident that it’s better for forests. We’ve lowered the price, not our standards.

Fairtrade

Did you know that all of our hot drinks are Fairtrade certified? This means that the farmers, smallholders and workers involved in growing and producing our coffee are paid fairly, enabling them to build better lives for themselves and their communities.

Our Honest Value range is no exception. To us, Fairtrade means fair prices both for coffee drinkers and coffee growers. So, you can pick up a pack a jar of Honest Value instant coffee, safe in the knowledge that our standards haven’t been compromised.

Responsible sourcing

All Coop tuna is sourced from fisheries using the pole and line method and we're working towards more sustainable fisheries through improvement projects.
