Our Pharmacy Delivery Drivers get the opportunity to meet and talk to different customers in their homes every day. That's why this role is about much more than just driving, it's about helping others and delivering great service, with a smile.

What do I need:

1. Full, clean, valid driving licence to include at least category B standard car licence
2. You must be a licenced driver aged 21 and over 
3. Excellent knowledge and understanding of the island and routes
4. Excellent driving skills
5. You must be organised
6. Good written and verbal English
7. A polite, friendly and professional disposition with excellent customer service and communication skills
8. Flexible approach with a can do attitude
9. Helpful and enthusiastic, you should really care about our customers and be a good team player who can work on your own initiative
10. Familiarity with GPS devices would be an advantage
11. Experience of handling roll cages, crate and pallet movements would be an advantage

What will I do:

1. Responsible for the safe, accurate loading of customers orders in and out of the Society's delivery van
2. Delivery of customers orders whilst observing all legal and safety regulations, policies and procedures, ensuring products arrive in time and perfect condition 
3. Deliver the best possible door step service to our customers
4. Maintain a friendly and professional approach, always remaining courteous and respectful of customers and the Society's privacy and properties
5. Ensuring the Society's vehicles are checked, fuelled, cleaned, charged, clean and tidy
6. Supporting colleagues as part of a good team work ethic
7. Assisting in planning deliveries

Previous experience in a driving role would be welcomed, however, a positive attitude is much more important than delivery driver experience as full training will be provided. Helpful and enthusiastic, you should really care about our customers and be a good team player who can work on your own initiative.
