Job Role

We're looking for a Financial Services Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the successful running of the Financial Services branches (our Post Office Counters).

It will be the responsibility of the person in this role to ensure that your branches are safe, secure and compliant with all legal requirements. Ensuring that society policies and procedures are fully adhered to.  You will be responsible and accountable for the effective running of branch performance across all trading hours

You will lead, motivate and develop your team, making sure that each and every colleague feels valued, ensuring that you manage performance to maximise sales and profitability by providing excellent customer service through effective team leadership.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Broad understanding of the business and the broader co-operative movement,
• To be risk aware in the areas under your responsibility
• To be able to understand and communicate business reporting.
• To be able to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Good at working under pressure
• Excellent numeracy skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
• Fresh and positive outlook.
