Meet them underneath the mistletoe with this zingy martini

Ingredients

1. 2 tbsp sugar
2. Pinch of grated ginger
3. 50ml Coop Irresistible London dry gin
4. 100ml pink grapefruit juice
5. 50ml Coop Irresistible Prosecco

Method

Make a sugar syrup
1. Put 2 tbsp water and the sugar into a small pan and bring to the boil
2. Add the ginger, then simmer until reduced
3. Leave to cool
Make the drink
1. Pour the gin into a glass with ice
2. Stir in the grapefruit juice
3. Drizzle in the ginger syrup
4. Then top up with the Prosecco
